USA Artistic Swimming Concludes Youth Championship & 12U Invitational in Buffalo

USA Artistic Swimming brought another electrifying weekend of competition to the Queen City as athletes from across the country gathered for the Youth Championship & 12U Invitational at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center.
More than 600 athletes took to the pool over four action-packed days, delivering a high-energy showcase of artistry, athleticism, and rising talent. From synchronized precision to dynamic team routines, the event highlighted the future of the sport at its most exciting and competitive level.
For many competitors, the weekend marked a pivotal moment in their season whether building toward future national team opportunities or gaining valuable experience on a major stage. Each performance reflected the discipline, dedication, and passion that define artistic swimming.
Leading the way, Santa Clara Artistic Swimming earned High Point Team honors after a dominant weekend of consistent top finishes across multiple events. Their depth and execution set them apart in a highly competitive field.
The High Point Athlete title resulted in a rare three-way tie, recognizing outstanding performances from Sicely Wu and Zurui Zhang from Blue Legend Artistic Swimming, and Annie Xiang representing Santa Clara Artistic Swimming. Each athlete stood out exceptionallty across multiple routines and divisions.
Next up, USA Artistic Swimming heads to Ypsilanti for the Junior Olympics—the largest and most anticipated event of the year—where the nation’s best will once again take center stage.
