These openings are distributed via email messaging, Instagram story and website posting once monthly. Each month, these listings are cleared and clubs must renew the listing by emailing kennedy@usaartisticswim.org.

The list will be cleared on the first Monday of every month.

Are you a passionate and experienced Artistic Swimming (Synchronized Swimming) coach looking to lead a thriving team? Tualatin Hills Synchro Club (THSC), located just outside beautiful Portland, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Coach to guide our growing family of athletes and coaches. 

In this role, you'll be the heart of our program—working with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from our introductory program through to our Masters team. We're looking for someone who leads with integrity and fosters an environment where athletes can reach their full potential, both in and out of the water. 

What You'll Do:

Lead Coaching: Deliver engaging training sessions in the water and on dryland. 

Choreography: Design creative and dynamic routines.

Job Title: Assistant Artistic Swim Coach

Overview: The Assistant Artistic Swim Coach will support the Head Coach in managing and developing a competitive artistic swimming program. Responsibilities include overseeing daily practices, coordinating team travel, recruiting prospective athletes, and maintaining the Pioneer Hall pool. The role also involves managing pool operations, supervising aquatics staff, and ensuring adherence to safety and maintenance protocols. 

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach with program development and daily practices. 

Coordinate team and official travel, competition schedules, and recruiting efforts. 

Oversee aquatics staff, including lifeguards and swim instructors. 

Manage pool maintenance and scheduling for academic, athletic, and external use. 

Ensure compliance with USA Artistic Swimming and university regulations. 

Help organize fundraising and alumni activities. 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. 

At least 2 years of experience in USA Artistic Swimming at the collegiate or competitive club level. 

Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Lifeguarding preferred.
