Any club that has a valid and current membership with USA Artistic Swimming can advertise coach openings free of charge as a benefit to our membership. These openings are distributed via email messaging, Instagram story and website posting once monthly. Each month, these listings are cleared and clubs must renew the listing by emailing kennedy@usaartisticswim.org.

The list will be cleared on the first Monday of every month.

As a key member of our coaching staff, you'll have the opportunity to work with a group of 50 dedicated athletes and train at the state-of-the-art McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center, situated in the beautiful city of Scottsdale, Arizona. Our comprehensive training schedule spans 2-5 days a week (Monday to Thursday, and Saturday mornings) tailored to each team's needs.

About Us

The Belles Artistic (Synchronized) Swimming Team was established in 2000. The name “Belles,” derived from the Latin word for beautiful, reflects our commitment to grace, artistry, and excellence in the sport of artistic swimming. 

Responsibilities

  • Coach Novice, Intermediate, or Age Group athletes based on availability and experience
  • Assist with routine choreography, figures, and dryland workouts
  • Provide constructive feedback.
  • Attend competitions and team events during competition season (typically January–July)

Merquas of Irvine 

HEAD COACH OPENING 

The Meraquas seek a head coach to lead our team to excellence nationally and internationally. Our team of over 50 athletes’ practices at the Woollett Aquatic Center, a 

world-class facility that hosts international, national, and regional competitions, including the USAAS West Zones upcoming in spring 2027. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Overseeing choreography, routine creation, and artistic development. 

• Developing and implementing annual training and competition plans. 

• Recruiting, mentoring, and collaborating with assistant coaches. 

• Leading and managing multiple age groups and skill levels. 

• Managing athlete selection, competition preparation, and performance analysis. 

• Communicating e6ectively with athletes, parents, and the broader artistic 

swimming community. 

• Working with the board of directors to manage the Meraquas of Irvine. 

 

Qualifications 

• Minimum 5 years of experience coaching artistic swimmers aged 8 to 18. 

• Strong background in choreography, athlete development, and team leadership. 

• Certified artistic swimming judge or readiness to become one. 

• Knowledge of (or eager to learn) the di6iculty table. 

• Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

• Passion for empowering and training athletes.
