Safe Sport Resources#
Everyone has a role to play in creating a healthy environment for our sport and our athletes. USA Artistic Swimming Safe Sport helps raise awareness about misconduct in sport, promote open dialogue, and provide training and resources. Providing a safe environment to protect the health and well-being of athletes is a high priority for USA Artistic Swimming.
REPORT A CONCERN #

The Center accepts all reports affecting the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement of: Sexual Misconduct, including without limitation child sexual abuse and any misconduct that is reasonably related to an underlying allegation of Sexual Misconduct, Criminal Charges or Dispositions involving Child Abuse or Sexual Misconduct, Misconduct Related to Reporting, where the underlying allegation involves Child Abuse or Sexual Misconduct; Aiding and Abetting, when it relates to the Center’s process, Misconduct Related to the Center’s Process or Other Inappropriate Conduct, as defined herein. The Center has exclusive jurisdiction to investigate and resolve reports affecting the Movement in the bulleted categories above. The Center also accepts reports of emotional and physical misconduct (including bullying, hazing, stalking, and harassment) within the Movement. Reports of emotional and physical misconduct can also be made directly to your sport’s national governing body (NGB).

- SafeSport is taking in this order:
- Year 1: SafeSport Trained
- Year 2: Refresher 1
- Year 3: Refresher 2
- Year 4: Refresher 3
- Year 5: Start over with SafeSport Training

Safe Sport Coverage Required for Membership Types#
- Staff
- Board Members
- Support Staff

- 18 years old and over
- Athletes that turn 18 before August 31, 2023 are required to have an Adult Membership, but do not have to complete the requirement until they turn 18.
- We encourage athletes to complete the training before so they are set for the season.
