USAAS Thanks Tammy McGregor for a Successful 2025 Season
by By USA Artistic Swimming, Kennedy Shriver
USAAS CEO Adam Andrasko and Senior National Team Head Coach Tammy McGregor met earlier this week and following a thoughtful and positive conversation both sides agreed on an amicable separation. The conversation and agreement is based on what is best personally and professionally for athletes, coaches, and the program as we look toward the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
Andrasko said, “USAAS leadership and I personally, extend a heartfelt thank you to Tammy for her sacrifice, steadfast support, and countless hours dedicated to the program, the organization and artistic swimming internationally. Her leadership helped guide the program through a very important post 2024 Olympic Games season. We look forward to continuing to collaborate in the future as we make this great sport better.”
McGregor shares, "I’m so grateful for the opportunity to once again be the Senior Team Head Coach of the National Team Program. For family reasons, I will be stepping back and returning home to Walnut Creek. It has been an absolute honor to support the red, white, and blue, and I’m so excited to see what this incredible team accomplishes next. With a home Olympics on the horizon, I know this group will rise to the occasion. They have the talent, the heart, and the grit to shine on the world stage, and I’ll be cheering this team on every step of the way."
