The Board of Directors of USA Artistic Swimming has announced the extension of Adam Andrasko’s position as CEO, marking his seventh year leading the organization. Since taking on the role, Andrasko has overseen significant growth and positive transformation within the sport.

Committed to the athletes and the sport, Andrasko has consistently made decisions that prioritize long-term success, including creating a program to ensure National Team members receive compensation for training. This initiative reduced turnover and allowed athletes to train together for extended periods, boosting performance. His guidance led the Senior National Team to the organization’s most memorable moment of the first Olympic qualification in 16 years, and which then lead to the program’s first Olympic medal in 20 years during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Not only has Andrasko made a lasting impact at the National Team level, but he has also continued to elevate USA National Meets and within USAA’s membership, creating opportunities for local clubs to compete against the nation’s top athletes. Unlike many CEOs, he can often be found front and center, serving as the MC at events, celebrating emerging talent, and ensuring that athletes, coaches, and spectators all enjoy a world-class experience.

Above all, he has built a team of staff who share his passion for improving the organization each day. Known for his constant enthusiasm and dedication, Andrasko often refers to USA Artistic Swimming as the “best NGB in the world” reflecting his deep commitment and love for artistic swimming.

Expressing gratitude for the board’s confidence, Andrasko shared, “Thank you to the board of directors and membership for their continued confidence in me. It has been an honor to lead our organization for the last seven years. It is the inspiring athletes at every level, the passionate coaches, dedicated officials, and committed parents that motivate me every day. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the CEO as we build toward a home Olympic Games. The opportunities to make USAAS better than most could imagine are right in front of us, and with your help and support, we will seize them.”

USAAS President, Kimberly Kohut, expresses the excitement "We are excited and confident to have Adam lead USA Artistic Swimming through 2029.  These next few years will be transformational and historic for our organization as we make progress toward LA 2028 with Adam's leadership.  We are looking forward to our continued partnership."

With Andrasko’s leadership continuing, USA Artistic Swimming is expecting ongoing growth, competitive success, and a bright future for the sport nationwide.
