COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Artistic Swimming is excited to announce today a new athlete development program called Rising Stars. With the goal of identifying and developing high-level athletes throughout the nation, this three-tier program will work to cultivate the Olympic athletes of tomorrow. The Rising Stars program will be available for novice, intermediate, and age group athletes all across the country. This new development program offers a unique pathway opportunity for athletes to start at their association and club level and work with the some of the nation's best coaches to improve their artistic swimming abilities and gain exposure for future consideration for U.S. national teams. Athletes can advance from Red Star Camp to Blue Star Camp before receiving an invitation to the annual All-Star Camp. These association and zone-level camps will be held across the country, with the ultimate goal of reducing travel barriers for athletes to learn and grow together.

Baylee Robinson, Events and Membership Director, described the Rising Stars program and its door-opening opportunities for everyone involved in the sport: USAAS is excited to launch a new pathway for athletes to attend training programs designed by our national team coaches and staff. We want to provide an all-inclusive opportunity for each level of athlete to receive training in artistic swimming from the most influential people in our talent programs. We're excited to be able to gather and train again soon.
