50th Annual Masters Championship Concludes in Kansas

From Thursday through Sunday afternoon, Overland Park, Kansas, hosted more than 290 artistic swimming athletes—ages 20 to 89—who came together to showcase their passion and compete at the highest level at the 2025 USA Artistic Swimming Masters Championships.
Across 53 events, the weekend was filled with unforgettable performances—from groundbreaking solos and inspiring mixed-ability duets to a show-stopping team routine set to Pitbull that featured bald caps and aviator goggles.
Several individuals and clubs made their mark throughout the competition. Redwood Empire claimed third place in the High Point standings, DC Synchro Masters took second, and the Arizona Aquastars earned the top spot, taking home the Overall High Point Award.
The prestigious Mae McEwan Memorial Award was presented to Laura Ganzel of the Michigan Synchro Stars for her outstanding contributions and spirit within the Masters artistic swimming community.
As the 2025 Masters Championships came to a close, the energy, camaraderie, and love for the sport were undeniable. The weekend served as a celebration of lifelong athleticism, artistry, and the enduring community that makes Masters artistic swimming so special.
