USAAS Academy Announces October Webinar Series

USA Artistic Swimming (USAAS) has introduced a new way to expand your Artistic Swimming knowledge and education through the USAAS Academy, hosted on the SloCoach platform. The Academy is kicking off with an exciting October Webinar Series—a weekly educational session held every Saturday in October. Each two-hour Zoom session is open to all USAAS members as well as international participants (only a free SloCoach account is required—no USAAS membership number or separate registration needed). Every week will feature two expert speakers, including USAAS National Team coaching staff, internationally recognized judges/DTCs, and Olympians. 

October Webinar Series Schedule 

Weekend 1 – October 4 
Topic: Judging – New Scoring System 
Focus: Execution and Artistic Impression Charts / Team & Pair Acrobatics Charts + Q&A 
Presenters: Debbie Latchford, Erin King, Cheryl Russel 
Open to: Judges, Coaches, Athletes

Weekend 2 – October 11 
Topic: Coaches – All Things Acrobatics 
Focus: Team & Pair Acrobatics – how to coach safely, tips & tricks from Olympian Dani Ramirez

Weekend 3 – October 18 
Topic: Technical Controllers – 2025 Updates & New Philosophy 
Focus: DD Chart & learnings from the 2025 season
